Description

Glucose 40% is a sterile hypertonic injection solution used as an energy source and to correct various metabolic disorders. The drug has detoxifying and rehydrating effects.

Indications

Dosage

Administered intravenously (bolus or infusion). Dosage is determined individually by a physician based on indications, patient age and clinical situation. The average single dose for adults is 20-50 ml of 40% solution.

Contraindications

  • Hyperglycemia
  • Diabetes mellitus (use with caution)
  • Cerebral and pulmonary edema
  • Acute left ventricular failure
  • Hyperosmolar coma

Storage Conditions

Store in a light-protected place at 5°C to 25°C. Protect from freezing. Shelf life - 3 years.
